Full description and specifications
A closed terrarium with nothing but moss: it's the easiest to get right. Water evaporates, condenses on the glass and falls back down. The moss keeps its green with a little light and almost no watering. The LED cork lights it up in the evening.
What the kit contains
The bottle
- Recycled glass bottle, Ø 17 cm × H 25 cm, about 4.5 litres
- 10 cm neck: your hand won't fit through, but tweezers will
- Cork stopper with built-in LED (the supplier does not specify the batteries)
The live moss (8 cushions)
- 2 bags of 3 moss cushions — Leucobryum glaucum, 8 to 15 cm in diameter
- 2 cushions of fresh moss, delivered with the filling

The three versions

- Essential: the container, the filling and the plants. You already have tweezers and a mister.
- With tools: Essential, plus the tweezers, the mister and the cork tamper. The right choice for a first terrarium.
- Complete: With tools, plus a bag of preserved reindeer moss to dress the landscape.
The build
Allow half an hour. Lay the layers in order — clay pebbles, activated charcoal, potting soil — then the moss cushions, pressed close together. Mist, close.
Care
Indirect light, never direct sun on the glass. If the glass stops misting up at all, spray a little low-lime water. If it stays permanently misted, open the bottle for a day.
Live plants
The plants leave the grower and travel in an insulated parcel. Open the box on the day of delivery and build the terrarium within 48 hours. If a plant arrives damaged, send us a photo: we replace it.
