Prisme Mosaic kit

A carpet of colour, to set at the centre of a table. Five fittonias, the “mosaic plants”, mingle their leaves veined with pink, white, red, orange and bright green, between hills of living moss.

The terrarium

• Geometric terrarium in glass and silicone, 47 × 21 × 17.5 cm (L × W × H)
• Faceted glass, handmade in Europe, watertight base
• Removable glass panel with a knob, which serves as the door and closes the terrarium

The live plants (5 plants)

• Fittonia Pink Tiger — pink, white and green foliage, about 10 cm tall including the pot
• Fittonia Joly Lemon — white and neon green foliage, about 10 cm tall including the pot
• Fittonia Bubble Red — red and green foliage, about 10 cm tall including the pot
• Fittonia White Tiger — white and green foliage, about 10 cm tall including the pot
• Fittonia Ruby Lime — orange and pink foliage, about 10 cm tall including the pot

• 3 cushions of fresh moss
• Terrarium potting soil — 1.75 L

• 15 extra cushions of living moss — Leucobryum glaucum, 8 to 15 cm in diameter

• Cork tamper — 22.5 cm, for packing the soil and placing the moss

The three versions

• Essential: the container, the filling and the plants. You already have tweezers and a mister.
• With tools: Essential, plus the tweezers, the mister and the cork tamper. The right choice for a first terrarium.
• Complete: With tools, plus a bag of preserved reindeer moss to fill in the gaps.

The build

Remove the glass panel by its knob to plant, then put it back in place: it closes the terrarium.

Allow an hour. Layers in order — clay pebbles, activated charcoal, potting soil — then the five fittonias, alternating the colours, the moss in hills around them.

Care

Bright light, no direct sun. Watering: once or twice a year. Remove the panel for a few hours once a month.

Handmade, to order

Each terrarium is assembled by hand in Europe, in glass and silicone. Slight differences from one piece to the next are normal: no two pieces are exactly alike. Yours is made to order: it ships within 1 to 2 weeks.

Live plants

The plants leave the supplier and travel in an insulated parcel. Open the box on the day of delivery and build the terrarium within 48 hours. If a plant arrives damaged, send us a photo: we replace it.
