- The clay pebblesAt the bottom, so excess water does not drown the roots.

Full description and specifications
A small tree under a large glass dome. The ficus ginseng keeps its bonsai silhouette all year round; calathea, asparagus and fittonias make up the undergrowth at its feet. At 11 litres, it's the largest of our kits.

The three versions

- Essential: the container, the filling and the plants. You already have tweezers and a mister.
- With tools: Essential, plus the tweezers, the mister and the cork tamper. The right choice for a first terrarium.
- Complete: With tools, plus a 12 cm wood stand that brings the bottle up to eye level.
The build
Allow an hour. Layers in order — clay pebbles, activated charcoal, potting soil — then the ficus in the centre, the other plants around it, moss at the base of the bonsai.
Care
Bright light, no direct sun: the ficus drops its leaves if it lacks light. Watering once or twice a year. A light trim once a year on the ficus and the asparagus.
Live plants
The plants leave the grower and travel in an insulated parcel. Open the box on the day of delivery and build the terrarium within 48 hours. If a plant arrives damaged, send us a photo: we replace it.

No, it's transport shock. Give it more light, without direct sun: new leaves grow back within a few weeks.
Do I need to buy an extra filling refill?
No. The filling comes with the plants: moss, potting soil, clay pebbles and activated charcoal. To redo the base later, get the sizes L and XL refill.
