Open terrarium only
Cacti dislike the standing humidity of a closed terrarium: the base rots. Use an open, well-ventilated terrarium, a pot with or without a saucer, or simply leave it in its own pot.
Good to know
The exact selection of varieties depends on the season and what's arriving at the grower's: no two sets are ever quite identical.
Live plants
The plants leave the grower and travel in an insulated parcel. Open the box on the day of delivery and set up the plants within 48 hours. If a plant arrives damaged, send us a photo: we'll replace it.

Care

LightBright light, as close to a window as possible: south, east or west facing. Without enough light, the plant stretches and pales.
WateringIn spring and summer, a few spoonfuls of water per plant every two to three weeks, once the substrate is dry all the way through. In autumn and winter, about once a month, or even less in a cool room.
PetsNot known to be toxic, but the spines injure on contact: keep out of reach of curious pets.

No. A cactus rots in a closed jar. Keep it in its pot or set it up in an open, well-ventilated terrarium.
Do I get to choose the varieties?
No, the selection is a mix put together by the grower. It varies with every shipment: ordering several sets never gives you the same combination twice.
