Specifications

Small Eden size: XL — the letter tells you which filling refill to get: the L and XL sizes refill.
Assembly
Allow an hour. The layers go in order — clay pebbles, activated charcoal, potting soil —, then the two calatheas and the fittonia.
Care
Open the bottle for a few hours once a month. Watering once or twice a year, gentle light without direct sun: the calatheas fade in the sun.
Live plants
The plants leave the grower and travel in an insulated parcel. Open the box on the day of delivery and build the terrarium within 48 hours. If a plant arrives damaged, send us a photo: we replace it.
Good to know
The glass is recycled: fine air bubbles may remain in the wall. They don't affect sturdiness and are barely visible once the terrarium is built.

Care

LightGentle light, never direct sun: it fades the pattern on the calatheas' leaves.
WateringOnce or twice a year. The calatheas are the plants that forgive dry air the least: if the glass stays permanently dry, open the bottle for a day.
PetsThe fittonia can irritate cats and dogs if chewed. The calatheas are not considered toxic. The closed terrarium keeps them out of reach.

No, 29 cm in diameter gives each one its own space. A light trim as they grow is enough to keep the landscape readable.
Does the LED light the plants enough to grow?
No, it's an ambient light for the evening. The calatheas need a bright room but without direct sun. Batteries not included.
