LightBright light without direct sun. The calathea tolerates less light than the others: place it on the shadier side of the terrarium.
WateringPotting soil kept permanently slightly moist, without soaking — the calathea needs constant humidity, the other plants handle it well too.
PetsOrnamental asparagus is considered toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, and the fittonia can irritate if chewed. The calathea is not considered toxic; no supplier data on the mini palm, keep out of reach as a precaution.
