An open terrarium for succulents: they love dry air and sun, the exact opposite of a closed bottle. The low bowl lets them breathe and shows them off from every angle.

What the kit contains

The bowl

• Clear glass bowl, Ø 20 cm × H 8 cm, flat base
• Open, no cork or lid — about 2 kg

The live plants (5 succulents)

• 2 assorted succulents, delivered with the filling (1 tall, 1 low-growing)
• 3 assorted succulents in a 6 cm pot, 8 to 12 cm tall including the pot

Varieties change depending on the harvest: the mix is not guaranteed to be identical.

The filling

• Potting soil — 0.75 L
• Clay pebbles for drainage — 0.75 L
• Decorative stones and dried tillandsia

The tools (With tools and Complete versions)

• Extra-long tweezers — 26 cm, stainless steel
• Clear glass mister — 16 cm, black nozzle
• Cork tamper — 22.5 cm, for packing the soil and placing the moss

The decoration (Complete version)

• Dried tillandsia — about 1 L bag, decorative, not alive

The three versions

Choose the version from the selector, above the add-to-cart button.

• Essential: the container, the filling and the plants. You already have tweezers and a mister.
• With tools: Essential, plus the tweezers, the mister and the cork tamper. The right choice for a first terrarium.
• Complete: With tools, plus a bag of dried tillandsia to cover the soil.

The build

Allow half an hour. A layer of clay pebbles, the potting soil, then the succulents taken out of their pots. The mineral decoration and the tillandsia go on last.

Care

Bright light, as close to a window as possible. In spring and summer, a few spoonfuls of water per plant every two to three weeks, once the soil is dry. In winter, about once a month.

Live plants

The plants leave the grower and travel in an insulated parcel. Open the box on the day of delivery and build the terrarium within 48 hours. If a plant arrives damaged, send us a photo: we replace it.
